Spring Festival 2017

A one week Spring Festival turned into two weeks when Turbine extended it for another week. I was very glad they did because all 15 of my characters now have the two horses I was wanting for them: Steed of Ethuil and Steed of the Jester.

About three or four of my toons got their Kites but not all of my characters got their Kites this year... there's always next year! But here's what the 2 Kites look like:

The shrew collection! All of my character easily found the Spotted-Shrew - so all 15 have them. Only a couple of my characters found the Dusty Shrew and the Plain Shrew - none of them found the Large Shrew. I didn't have time to grind for more Spring Leaves to trade in for the other 3 shrews!! LOL... Maybe next year!

I had a bunch of Tomes of the Spotted Shew collected by all my characters!! All of them had their Spotted Shrew and I still had Tomes for them collected in my bag -- off to the Auction House with them! I sold all of them for very cheap at auction - better to do that than vender them off.

Speaking of Auctions... gathered flowers for one hour per toon... and look at all the wall paint, love notes and recipes I acquired!! Some I auctioned off for cheap... and vendored off the rest of the recipes - just way to much!! LOL! I was looking for the Large Flower in a box but I didn't get it this year... oh well, maybe next year! :)

Here's what the flower boxes look like that got from the festival!

They are all so pretty but I auctioned all of them off (plus the extras I had)... I've got

several things for the yard that I rotate or put out during festivals, holidays and for everyday stuff.

I got the Spring Fest outfit -- and found lots of dyes from the boxes where I got

lots of other items! I found Rivendell Green dye so I darkened the

green color on the Spring Shirt... and had some umber dye to darken/color the light blue pants.

Use of the wardrobe allows me to keep all the colors the clothing are dyed so

I still have the outfit in it's original colors.

I've also got the fish itself to wear dangling on myside - so it looks really funny

with him actually grabbing the fish and slapping someone with it!! LOL

And 4 or 5 of my characters were doing the Ale Association quests

to become kindred with them for this A.A. Rep. Goat. We're gonna want

it for Moria!  Next festival I'll have more of my toons grinding to get

this goat from the A.A. Then we'll all try to get into the Inn League.

It was a very fun festival this year - and I got a lot things I've been wanting... I just have

the rest of my characters to get their stuff next Spring Fest! Things like their Fishslap Emote and Kites and shrews and whatever else looks good!! LOL! :D

So glad it was extended this year - it really helped me so all of my toons could get the two festival horses and a few other wanted items for them. :)

All my toons have their two festival horse I wanted for them and their Spotted Shrews - that includes Coremar that I am trying to move to Crickhollow server. All have read the festival fortunes and have their titles for them except Coremar who will read them when I get him to Crickhollow!!
