Answer: Pertinent to this instance specifically, you can receive social emotes by having them done to you from other players, but also for emoting at NPCs. Both "The Audience" and the snow beasts count, so if you're dong a lot of cheering in the theater and also the snowbeasts, you'll receive this emote fairly quickly (5 per day for 20 days = /firebreath).
