Well, I am quite excited today. My main toon, Faron, won a horse at the Harvestmath. He had two steeds to choose from and I chose the Sable Harvestmath horse. My character does have another chance to win the other Harvestmath horse: a gray and white. I will try for that later on.
In order to obtain this horse you need 12 Fall Festival Tokens, 1 Festival Run Token, and Receipt of Purchase. The proof of purchase is a cost of 1g 604s if you already own a mount. If you do not already own a mount then the cost is 4g. And to use the festival horse you have to be at least a level 35. I was lucky and was able to push my main toon Faron to a level of 40 before the Harvestmath began.
The horse I thought was the new Harvestmath horse won via the horse races was not the skeleton horse I was wanting. The skeleton horse is found as a rare drop from a chest in the Haunted Burrows (Party Tree area in the Shire). It turns to be a a rare drop from a chest in the Haunted Burrows (Party Tree area in the Shire). I will try my luck to find this rare horse during the festival.
I'm enjoying the Harvestmath and the AA (Ale Association) quests. The only problem I am having is the in-game travel costs for some of the AA quests and to get to each festival area. It is back to Angmar for Faron to quest to obtain some silver to continue the in festivities.
I have not tried out the Haunted Burrow as of yet - but I will have to try the quests and see if I am lucky enough to complete them. Maybe I will find the rare mount drop in a chest!
