Classes

My 2 favorite classes so far is the Hunter followed closely by the Captain. I've tried all classes and some not long enough to give them a fair shake.

Lore-Master: I have tried the Lore-Master past level 20; long enough to give it a good test run. I love the LM it is a fun unique class but I'm not great at playing one.  My toon Taure started out as a LM but I find that I have to be in the right frame of mind to play one because the game-play is different. I will try to master the Lore-Master later on. I decided to reroll Taure into the Hunter class. As far as his blog, I'll change it up somewhat for his new found class or delete it all together.

Minstrel: Another class I've tried up to level 20. I like them but again not a class I'm good at playing. My dwarf Oodo is a Minstrel right now. I'm thinking about rerolling Oodo into another class but I have not decided what. I intended on him being Rune-Keeper in live as he was in Beta but I have not opened that class up yet. I love to group with someone that plays a Minstrel class well but I myself need to practice at it longer before I would do well in a fellowship with this class. This class I find I have to be a certain frame of mind to play like the Lore-Master. And it's another I class I may practice with later on.

Rune-Keeper: Tried in Beta. I love it and I want to open this class to play. I'm going to wait until I get MoM (Mines of Moria) to gain the Rune-Keeper class instead of spending separate TP on it. MoM includes the Rune-Keeper and Warden classes.

Warden: I tried it and it's not a class suited for my style of gameplay. I did not do well with the gambit system. I see other player who can play this class exceptionally well; I just could not get into the gambits. I may try again when I gain MoM.

Burglar:  I don't think I ever got past level 10 playing this class. It seemed like a fairly cool class to play but I have yet to set my mind on really trying to play a Burglar. One should play until about level 20 to really get a good feel of the class. Another class I shall try out later on.

Guardian: I tried it and liked it but I don't like having to chase down foes that runs away - I try to avoid that as much as possible. A Guardian will get use of a bows and crossbows at level 30. Now if I learn to tolerate the foes running off and chasing them down.  I know I need to give this class another chance. I might actually get good at playing one.

Champion: I am trying one again now. I created a toon of this class last night to give it a real chance to see how well I can play one.  Like the Guardian they have to chase the foes when they run. At level 20, the Champion will get use of bows. So that is not to far into gameplay until the Champion gets their range skill. I have a feeling I may really like this class. I love duel wielding weapons plus the range skill (why I love playing a Hunter and the reason I feel I may really enjoy playing a Champion if I give the class a fair try.)

Captain: Love them. One of my favorite classes to play. A Captain does not ever get use of range skills but they do have a Herald. With help from my Herald I can chase down foes when they run plus the shout skill when the timer is cooled off helps me to eliminate the foes that are running off. And I love the healing skill of the Captain.

Hunter: All time favorite class (as right now). Range skills plus duel wielding weapons. This class I am easily mastering so I do enjoy playing one - a lot.

Right now I have 4 Hunters, 2 Captains, 1 Champion, and 1 Minstrel. Again, I rerolled my Lore-Master Taure into a Hunter. My Minstrel I don't know what to do with, I may reroll Oodo into a Guardian to give that class a fair chance and see how well I can play one. I have one Hunter created for a temporary time -- only to run some easy deeds for quick TP then delete the character.

What that leaves me with:
1. Faron: Hunter - Main Toon
2. Augustinn: Captain -- Main Toon
3. Marinus: Captain -- Main Toon
4. Taure: Hunter -- Main Toon (was an Alt and a Lore-Master; might be rerolled into a Champion instead. I'm enjoying a Champion and I've too many Hunters already.)
5. Pyahel: Hunter -- Alt Toon
6. Oodo: Minstrel -- Alt Toon (unsure what to do, reroll him into a Guardian or wait to reroll him into a Rune-Keeper)
7. Daevallod: Hunter -- Temp Toon (maybe an Alt or Main later on)
8. Saeron: Champion -- Temp Toon (maybe an Alt or Main later on)
